Marketing Coordinator
We are seeking an ambitious graduate from arts, marketing or a related discipline to join our rapidly growing media company. The successful candidate will take on a number of key responsibilities, looking after the marketing, PR, editorial and customer service aspects of our business. You would enjoy working in a fast paced environment and in a small team, where you would have a direct say into what we do and how we go about doing it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop copy and write editorials for our websites (10+ hours/week)
- Provide input into content design and website useability (4 hours/week)
- Respond to customer enquiries (2-3 hours/week)
- Develop marketing and PR plan
- Undertake marketing and PR activities (10+ hours/week)
- Networking and brand promotion at key events – fashion shows, product launches, movie premieres
Desired Experience:
- Experience writing press releases
- Media relations management
- Marketing campaign experience
- Ability to co-ordinate
- Web savvy
- Media/magazine experience (e.g. New Weekly, Cosmo, Vogue, Women’s Weekly) or experience in fashion industry/female brands would be a major plus
Skills and Attributes Sought:
- Good oral communication/interpersonal skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Unique style
- Ability to use words and imagery to create an emotional connection
- Established contacts in the Australian women’s media industry would be a bonus
